1st Floor Lobby of Dobson Hall

• All FedEx, DHL, UPS, Certified Mail, and any other shipping agents other than US Postal Service are delivered to the Dobson Hall Package Room. All US Postal Service packages and mail are sent directly to the student's residence hall mailbox.
• Incoming deliveries only. The Dobson Hall Package Room does NOT ship packages.
• Please note we do not have the ability to keep packages in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Photo identification is required to pick up packages.
• To avoid any delay, please make sure all packages are appropriately addressed to the on-campus student. Packages that arrive under a different name (parent, roommate, etc) may unintentionally be returned to sender.
• Package Notification Procedure

  • Package arrives via shipping agent.
  • Package is signed for and logged in by Dobson Hall Package Room Employee.
  • An email is sent to the student who received a package. This email is sent to their Brockport email address. If the package is a perishable package/flowers, we will attempt to call their room phone as well and leave a message.
  • If student is expecting a time-sensitive package, please make note of Dobson Hall Package Room hours or make alternate arrangements ahead of time if unable to pick up their package during posted times.
  • If student is unable to pick up their package during posted hours, they can print out the notification email they received, and write a signed note giving someone permission to pick up their package for them.
  • When coming to pick up a package and cannot gain entry into Dobson, please call x2233 from the phone in the Dobson Lobby. Do not knock on the door.
