It is assumed that your PC or Mac has an integrated network interface card or that a network interface card (NIC) has been installed.  A modem is NOT a network interface card.

You will need a network cable to connect the computer to the wall plate in your room.  If you do not have a network cable, please pick one up at  Dailey Hall.

Connect the network cable between the wall plate and your computer. Also, Resnet provides a CD to every student to help connect to our network. Follow the steps on the CD and connection will be a breeze.
