Student Councils

Freshman, Transfer and Second-year Councils

Members of our Freshman, Transfer and Second-year councils are comprised of new and current students. The purpose of each Council is to discuss issues affecting new students with peers and College administrators.  Councils meet three times each semester on various topics.

Inspired by the American Democracy Project, each council contributes to the campus community in various ways.  All students are welcome to participate; no application necessary!

Spring 2012 Meeting Schedule

Freshman Council

Meetings are at 3:45 pm in the Transfer/Retention Center (C5 Cooper) on the following Thursdays:

Transfer Council

Meetings are held in the Transfer/Retention Center (C5 Cooper Hall) on the following days:

• Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 9:30 am
• Wednesday, Mar. 7 at 9:10 am
• Tuesday, Apr.. 10 at 9:30 am

Meetings are at 3:45 pm in the Seymour Union, room 228 (unless otherwise noted) on the following Wednesdays:
