Development of a Program for Computational Fluid Dynamics

A new approach for generating the discrete equations that arise in the solution of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations will be presented. The technique involves the retention of terms in the discrete formulation that are traditionally statically condensed at the element assembly level. Numerical results will be presented for the case of a driven cavity flow.
