Scholars Day 2006, Wednesday, April 12

European Union Simulation

Students who participated in this year's Eurosim (European Union Simulation) in Prague, Czech Republic from January 5-9, 2006 will be discussing their experience. We would like to propose a panel with approximately 10 student participants and a discussant (the faculty advisor, Dr. Cynthia Boaz). Each of the students will focus on their particular "alter-ego" experience on one of the EU's main bodies, including the Commission, the Council(s) of Ministers, the European Council, or the European Parliament. They will also discuss their achievements in developing a common policy on Immigration and Asylum in the EU. The objective of this presentation is to both promote the club and the simulation, and to share information about traveling abroad and working with students from other countries in a simulation experience.
