Mexican Religious Traditions

This presentation will discuss the importance of the vision of Our Lady after the Spanish conquest when the Mexican people were deprived of everything. The event of the vision came to symbolize the birth of the new civilization. There are many symbols associated with Our Lady that will be discussed. In addition to showing the connection of the Virgin with the celebration of the Day of the Dead in the Brockport Mexican community. The presentation will be in Spanish with some English.
