Analysis of SUNY Brockport Student Success Modeled by Absorbing Markov Chains

As with most universities, SUNY Brockport is interested in striving to maintain a high quality of student success. In this presentation we analyze the rate at which students transition from freshmen up to senior status. Also we investigate at what point in their college careers students end up leaving the college, and if they leave the school with or without a degree. To help us model this problem we use Markov Chains modeling techniques.
