Social Work Research Methods Projects: Tool for Service Learning

This poster session focuses on how to use research course projects as a tool for service learning. Posters consist of social work students' research projects pertaining to the field of gerontology (i.e. customer satisfcation) and campus issues (i.e. Women's Center, Campus Climate on Race & Ethnicity, and Support Services). A working definition, advantages and challenges of service learning are fundamental issues addressed in order to understand and embrace the American Democracy movement of today.
