Feeding the Body and Soul: "The Will Work for Food Project"

The Will Work for Food Project was a semester long collaboration between Delta College students and Assistant Professor Kitty Hubbard for the course Aesthetics2: Censorship and Contemporary Issues in Art. The mission statement for the project is "The Will Work for Food Project is a collaborative effort to entertain, provoke, and inform about what we need to survive/sustain/fuel us. We address issues from personal, public, and political perspectives that reflect our diversity." Our project was presented at the 2005 Delta College World Conference and included spoken word, rap, dance, digital projection, visual art and artist books. This presentation will share with you some of what we created together and the importance of the collaborative creative process.
