Frogwatch USA Volunteer Program

Frog species that used to be prolific in areas are now in severe decline. While frogs are among many species at the risk of extinction, some think of frogs as a clear sign the environment is danger. Their permeable skin allows changes in the environment to have stronger effects on the creatures than it may on some. Come learn how to access and use Frogwatch USA, an online volunteer program which compiles data from observers nationwide. By making the simple step of listening to frogs calling a couple nights each week and logging online to plug in the data, volunteers can do their part to help ensure those evening songs are available for future generations to hear.
