Plant Distribution Gradient from Coastal to Inland Areas at San Salvador, the Bahamas

Plant species on San Salvador change from coastal to inland areas on San Salvador. The purpose of this study was to evaluate if their distributions change continuously or sharply along the coastal to inland gradient. How sharp the gradient was depended on rate of elevation change and degree of exposure to wind and salt spray.
