Can the Background Color of Text Influence Students' Comprehension, Speed, and Accuracy of Reading?

This study investigates whether colored background of text increases students’ speed and accuracy of selected passages. Furthermore, it explores whether students’ comprehension ability is positively or negatively affected by the color of the background. The results of this study, if applied correctly, may help students overcome many of the challenges of reading.
