The Spanish Pablo Picasso showed his passion for drawing since he was a very young child. It is said that his first word was "piz", which is short for lapiz, meaning pencil in Spanish. This presentation will briefly describe the artist's training and the most important symbols and techniques of a series of very solemn paintings made, using mostly blues, blacks, and greens, that represent what has been called his blue period.
