Students will prepare posters based on their work for the Advanced Physics Laboratory. Some experiments carried out by the students include X-ray diffraction to determine atomic distances for common salts, electrical resistivity, superconducting transitions, and electrical and magnetic measurements at cryogenic temperatures on elemental indium, lead and Tin. The posters will cover the measurements methods and the working principles for reaching and maintaining the cryogenic tempertures.
