The decision in Brown v. Board of Education forever changed American society by allowing African American children the right to equal education. In comparison, if the fight for legalization of same-sex marriage reaches the Supreme Court, the decision rendered could change the way marriage is viewed in America. My presentation will compare the creation of seperate classes for education and viewing education as a "civil right" and how the decision held in Brown could strengthen the argument for legalizing same-sex marriage in the United States.
