Members of the Social Foundations of Education class, EDI 430/530:Education and Society, have created a Museum of American Public Education to share our work this semester in examining school as a contested site. Students offer their representations of controversial issues related to curriculum, school funding, competing philosophies, and the challenge to meet the diverse needs of students in a pluralistic society. We hope this visual and virtual display generates the opportunity for civic engagement on topics that so deeply affect, and at times, divide us.
