This presentation will explore what the researcher has realized and learned during the process of completing her Honors Senior Thesis. The main purpose of this thesis was to explore and examine how women lawyers have dealt with balancing family life as well as their career in the past, present and how she plans to balance them in the future. This thesis is significant for the researcher because she plans to head to law school next year, become a lawyer, and plans to have a family. She interviewed several women lawyers to learn what their experiences consisted of, how they balanced their priorities, and what they would have done differently if they could do it all over again. The presentation will encompass some history of professional women, details from the interviews, some statistics about women lawyers as well as her conclusions regarding her interviews, experiences and potential plans for the future.
