This research seeks to uncover first hand reflections of specific performance experiences from modern dancers. The following questions will be used to aid investigation of performer memory. What do modern dancers remember about performance? Are details of specific performance imprinted in a performer’s memory? Are certain types of memories more common amongst modern dance performers? Due to the kinesthetic nature of performance are physical sensations present in a dancer's memory? Autobiographies, interviews, and first personal accounts from dancers will be inspected to discover how performers remember performance.
