The Increased Likelihood of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Tears in Females and It's Causes: a Meta-analysis

The presenter is researching the causes behind the increased number of instances of Anterior Cruciate Ligament tears in females versus males. This paper is a meta-analysis that is looking at the findings of several different studies. The researcher is looking at the data of these studies to determine what factors are believed to have the greatest impact on the likelihood of an ACL tear. Examples of causes being researched are the different hormone levels in women, strength differences between men and women, and the effect of the Q-angle on the biomechanics of the knee.
