The impact of the cancer experience on well children in the household was investigated. Psycho-social problems experienced by these children were examined that focused on the theoretical perspective of Erikson. Coping and adaptation skills were explored. Intervention strategies were recommended that included school-counseling intervention, group-intervention, and community-based approaches.
