The purpose of the action research project for the Counselor Education Department internship program is to identify the needs of individual site supervisors, as well as comparison of the needs of college, mental health and school supervisors. This goal is accomplished by conducting a survey that assesses and compares factors such as quality of communication between site supervisors and the department; interest in serving on an advisory board; the preferred method of communicating informational updates from the department; supports needed by site supervisors; interest in trainings of supervisors; use of the departmentís website and newsletter; and, ways to enhance dialogue between the Counselor Education Department and site supervisors. The poster session will present the findings of the survey and recommendations for the Counselor Education internship program.
