New students to the Education Program may find the process of becoming a certified middle or high school teacher a daunting process. This presentation highlights key sections of a manual put together to assist teacher candidates in completing the college's and New York State's initial certification requirements. This work also includes various approaches and first hand accounts from students throughout the program in how they have met these requirements.
