Research Roundtable: A Zebrafish Based Model for Human Gastrointestinal Motility

Studentís participating in independent research with Dr. Rich in the Department of Biology will present a roundtable discussion of their projects that utilize the zebrafish model system for human gastrointestinal motility. Each student will contribute a short presentation with a single slide that captures the essence of their project. Each will explain how their project contributes to the overall goals of the laboratory. An open discussion will fill the remainder of the session when presenters and the audience will be invited to ask questions of any member of the roundtable. The presentation will share the overall goals of basic research by students, the experience of student-researchers, and the trials, tribulations, and outcomes of the overall laboratory research efforts.
