The Perception of Spirituality in School Counseling in a Suburban Setting: Focus Groups

This study investigated how school counselors utilize spirituality as part of their work with students in the school setting. This research addresses the impact that spirituality can have on the student/school counselor's relationship. Our team collected and interpreted quantitative and qualitative data by conducting surveys and focus groups, with the school counselors from the Fairport School District. The collection of information allowed us to explore the effect that spirituality has on a student's well being.
