This project will present research about the new contemporary dance style of Andrea Millerís Gallim Dance, an innovative New York City based dance company. Working intensively and closely with the company encourages students to gain deep understanding about their dance style. Also, a study about audience reaction during the company residency reveals that actual participation assists an audience to have positive experience with dance performance. It concludes that a real interaction between the company and the audience helps to make dance more evocative.
