Many times it goes unnoticed that the Chinese population forms a significant portion of Peru to the point that it affects its culture. Cross cultural ties within these two ethnic groups has created a new ethnic entity which is a mix between the Chinese culture and Latin American values that begun in the 1800's and stills holds true and continues to develop today.
