This session offers a first-hand account of two students’ study abroad experiences. Topics include Feminist Observations Overseas, Religious Worldly Identity, Gender Socialization and Stereotypes, and the Constructions of Gender Abroad. Through visual aids and reflective analysis, this presentation infuses real-life stories with gender-based knowledge. Via question and answers, audience members will have an opportunity to interact with and consider women as travelers.
