Evaluating the Accuracy of Childhood Mental Health Diagnosis in a Clinical Setting

The object of this study is to evaluate the symptoms and diagnosis of all admitted children and youth patients at Rochester Mental Health Center during the year 2009. The study will examine boys who are diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in comparison with girls who exhibit similar symptoms but are diagnosed differently. The purpose is to determine the accuracy of diagnosis between males and females under the age of 17 in a clinical setting.
