The Importance of Family in Chinese Culture

The presenter conveys the idea that in Chinese culture the family is most important. Knowledge gained in an Honors Ancient World class is connected to information from several texts. These texts include The Analects and works written by Ta Hsueh, Ban Zhae, Fu Hsuan, Mei Yao Ch'en, and Kuo Chu-Ching. Overall the essay shows that the idea of family has lasted over multiple generations and is still at the core of Chinese Culture.
