In the Fall of 2001, the presenter created a grass garbage can as a comment on landfills, excessive waste and our use of the planet as a giant trash can. That project led to her Spring 2012 independent study in which she helped inspire and supervise sculpture classes in their creation of "living sculptures" to be "planted" in the backyard of the Tower Fine Arts Center on campus. The presentation documents the project's development.
