How Recreation Helps Marine Wives Cope With Deployments

This presentation will examine recreation and leisure as a coping method for Marine wives dealing with a deployment. The research presented will provide an in- depth view on the lives of five Marine wives and how recreation has been beneficial during their husband's current deployment. Military deployments, stressors of deployments, and coping methods will also be discussed.
