The researcher investigates the links between overfishing, overexploitation and short-sighted water use policy and their severe impacts on salmonid populations. Discussed will be how land development and overexploitation have negatively affected these important aquatic animals. Additionally, this presentation highlights some recovery tactics that can be pursued in order to protect both the species potentially at risk.
