According to experts, disorganized neighborhoods can condition an individual's criminal behavior which results in juveniles not successfully re-integrating into our society and committing criminal acts. The purpose of this research is to provide a better understanding of the criminal behaviors juveniles are committing within the Rochester area from the perspectives of police officers. The research takes an in-depth look at the kinds of delinquent acts that police frequently handle and the actions they take involving juveniles. Using a survey, perceptions and experiences of police officers will be examined.
