The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of the mission of Habitat for Humanity, and how Brockport students contribute to objectives that the organization has. Further, we will describe our local community efforts, as well as our goals for the future of our chapter. Our main topic will be our alternative spring break trip, in which 21 of our members will be heading down to Houston, TX, to spend four days volunteering for another affiliate of the international organization, over the college's break in March. We will reflect on our experience, discussing the trip, the people, and the work that we will be doing, as well as what we were able to take from the rare opportunity that we have been given.
