Life as an Honors student can be very difficult for incoming freshman. This poster will explore some of the aspects of dorm life, particularly in the Honors Living Learning Community dorm. The poster explains some of the advantages of living in Thompson, including location, heating and air conditioning. The Honors LLC creates an atmosphere of interested learners that freshman will see in their Honors classes throughout their careers at Brockport. Some of the advantages of living with other Honors students is that it is easy to work with others that you have class with, and most Honors students have similar goals when it comes to studying. This creates an environment, which allows students to become close enough to make lasting friendships, while also allowing students to maintain the same work ethic that got them thus far. Freshmen Honor students can feel confident in coming into the LLC to meet students of similar priorities and feel a sense of community.
