The Joint Commission has developed National Patient Safety Goals (NSPG) in an effort to continuously improve health care for the public. Nursing students at The College at Brockport learn about NSPGs and realize that the number one responsibility of the nurse is to ensure patient safety at all times. This presentation will provide examples of how NSPGs are implemented in the critical care setting.
