Students from English 430: The Long Eighteenth Century (also known as Sex, Satire, and Sentiment: 1660-1789) will present posters on material objects in eighteenth-century literature. Each poster will represent an object from a poem, play, novel, or periodical that the students are reading. Presenters will display the historical context of their chosen material object in poster form, and will offer a narrative about how its materiality informs their reading of the text in question.
