“Inscrita” is a dance installation that includes life performance, objects, photographs and videos. This piece is informed by deep reflections and contradictory encounters between the experience of moving and the articulation of this experience. The interconnections among body, words, language and non/communication are at the core of this artistic inquiry which explores the body as a place/context; as a site that enacts “speech” and “narration”. The (moving) body not as (re)presentation but as expression itself is what, according to philosopher Jean Luc Nancy, makes us vulnerable.
