The presenter will discuss the findings of his film music research at the UCLA Charles E. Young Research Library and the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers 75th Anniversary Exhibit, including visual and audio examples. He will also discuss his work with Walter Murphy at the Clint Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Studios and how he writes and directs the scores for the Brockport Symphony Orchestra A Night at the Movies Concert. He will demonstrate that film music is still alive and flourishing with several powerful stories from the ASMAC 75th Anniversary Celebration.
