Sexual pleasure is an uneven experience among men and women. This dissonance is the result of society, education and the overall taboo nature of the topic. Societal norms, media advertisements, and cultural differences will be explored in their relation to sexuality and pleasure. Influences like Cosmopolitan magazine, news reports, and "common knowledge" will be examined for their contribution to enhancing male pleasure and subverting female pleasure. The future of male and female sexual gratification will be argued with particular emphasis on culture change and how we as individuals can continue revolutionizing sexuality.
