The Importance of Service Learning and or Experiential Learning in Social Work

This presentation discuss and evaluates the current literature on service learning in social work and related field. It will address both the pros and cons of having a service learning and or an experiential learning component to help students more fully learn how to apply theory to practice. Finally it will give examples of what I have learn so far through my own experience in social work methods III (SWO 441) as well as my independent study on Diversity in Islam.
