This paper will examine the role of newspaper editorials in the age of Red vs. Blue. Should editorials, and by implication newspapers, back certain candidates or specific public policies? Does this negatively impact perception of the paper in the eyes of its readers'? The discussion will focus on secondary analysis of research conducted regarding these questions and raise tentative conclusions addressed in the presenter's thesis paper.
