Evidence of Overlap in the Processing of Music and Language.

This paper will examine the functioning and processing of music and language through empirical research articles. It will cover the basics of language comprehension as well as cognitive functioning. Music will also be looked at in regards to where processing takes place and what reactions our brain has to different musical situations. The main focus of the paper however, is if there is an overlap in how the two are processed. My hope is that with this presentation, people will become more aware of musicís importance in the development and impact on human development.
