Inside Your Head - "A Midsummer Night's Dream" set in the mind of Hermia

The spirits play with the sensibilities of the lovers in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” At the center of the controversy is Hermia, torn between love and duty. This paper explores a production concept in which the setting is the delirious mind of Hermia. Rationale for selection of the concept, methods for realizing the concept through graphic representations, and ways in which the concept may explicate the text will be presented.
