Scholars Day 2005, Wednesday, April 13

Evolution vs. Creation

Much has been pontificated about the origin of man and the purpose of our existence. We will examine the claims of evolution and creation in light of the scientific evidence. Are these differing world views theoretical or evidential? Is there any compatibility between the two views? Are they at there very core inherently religious? We will attempt to answer these questions and analyze the basic arguments used to support each claim in what should be an intellectually stimulating discussion. Be prepared to expand your mind, dismiss preconveived notions and use good old fashioned common sense to draw your own conclusions.
