"Yellow Unexpected" is an original modern dance work which contains a commissioned musical score for piano and two percussions of the same title. The music and movement are the result of a collabarative effort between musician/teacher, Mark Olivieri and choreorapher/teacher James Hansen, both of the Department of Dance. This work demonstrates the affect and importance of balance between the two traditionally conected mediums as one art form consistently supports the other without overshadowing.
