Surviving an Eating Disorder: You’re NOT Alone

Millions of people around the world are suffering from eating disorders. Although anyone, at any age can have one, the most predominate are teenage girls. While much information on the disease can be found at the library, online or at doctor’s offices, the resources provided are not geared towards the eating disorder target audience. Those battling the disease need to understand what it is, what causes it, how it affects your body, and ways to cope. Most importantly, people need to feel as if they can relate to others attempting to survive the same illness.
