Gender Bending in Film

This presentation will allow the audience to see how men and women cross the societal boundaries of what it is to be a man or a woman. By using film clips and film terminology, this presentation will allow the audience to enhance their viewing of film, and to understand the full impact of how men and women not only see themselves but how they portray themselves to the world. The films that will be discussed are as follows: Connie & Carla, Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
