Study Abroad Scholarships
Please visit the International Education Office or the Scholarship Resource Center (located in the Financial Aid Office) for additional information on Study Abroad scholarships offered by organizations outside of the College.
JANIE HILL INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP was established to encourage and assist undergraduate students to travel and study abroad. Janie Hill ’85 — world traveler, educator and businesswoman — provides this scholarship to foster the understanding of cultural and social diversity in relation to one’s own environment.
ERIC M. STEEL SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDY was established by friends and colleagues of the late Dr. Steel, professor of French, 1942 – 1974, and founder of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. Dr. Steel was a pioneer among SUNY professors in developing and offering credit-bearing programs of international study for undergraduate and graduate students throughout the SUNY system.
