At SUNY Brockport, We Are Serious About Academic Excellence

Not only is SUNY Brockport an intellectual community that is committed to student success , we believe in rewarding excellent students for their academic achievements.

International students will be considered for the following awards during the admission application review process, if they meet the requirements. Awards are based on each student's academic performance within his/her country's educational system.

Scholar Recognition Award

This award offers a tuition scholarship valued at $2,000 for freshman students who have demonstrated superior academic achievement throughout their high school program. The scholarship helps to cover the increased cost in required educational fees normally associated with being an out-of-state student. This scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years. On-campus residency is required.

*The SAT minimum requirement is based on the critical reading (verbal) and math scores. The new SAT writing score will not be used as a determining factor for SUNY Brockport scholarship eligibility.

These scholarships are renewable, too.

Scholarships for freshmen will be provided for a maximum of four years. Renewals will be granted to all scholars who maintain a GPA of 3.25 or higher with a credit load of at least 30 credits per year (fall and spring semesters) and continue to reside on campus.

These scholarships are subject to the Terms of Award for the Extraordinary Academic Scholarship Program.
